Painter, Printmaker, bookmaker, occasional maker of sculpture Donna Drouin is also a workshop leader, mother of 4 and explorer of creative living. Her work often relates to her relationship with the natural world. That might be trees, sky, lichen and birds in drawing, print and sculpture. It might be memories of long walks in wild landscapes, and the hot colours of summer in abstract landscapes. She exhibits annual at Kooroon Gallery as well as further afield and sells regular at small and large craft events regionally and as far afield as Sheffield.
She utilises various media including dry point, lino and gelli plate print, acrylics, gold leaf and oil pastorals as well as creating artists’ books and sculptural explorations. She also runs sessions on printing with her Wooden Spoon Print Club, drawing and creative contemplations.
