Glenda Gibson is an accomplished artist, teacher and curator. She programmes and runs the monthly Kooroon Gallery, is a key member of Belvoir Art Trail committee and many other groups. She is also an artist and writer who runs the monthly creative development workshop Starting Point and regular children’s classes covering many aspects of art in many forms.
In her own work she predominately paints expressive, vibrant works in oils but has taken a many winding road to get to her current style. She is experienced with a wide variety of media such as acrylics, mixed media, water colours, mosaics, drawing, photography, felting and sewing.
Glenda’s experience as a teacher and self observer has helped her develop key skills in getting herself and encouraging others to explore their process and inspiration. Her quiet confidence is reassuring and she always sees and celebrates the potential and serendipity in each person she meets or works with.
