Sharon Dickinson

30 Years making and counting…………..

Sharon is an artist jeweller who works (with her husband Phil) under the name Archives Crafts. She designs and makes beautiful feminine jewellery inspired by myth and magic, pre Raphaelite maidens and mermaids. Many of her shapes and patterns are influenced by art noveau, Gustav Klimt and Macintosh.

She also designs and makes unique pewter repousse plaques and mirrors which are widely sought after especially in America and make perfect heirloom gifts for special occasions . All her work is hand fabricated and finished. Her English pewter work is unique and made mostly to order. Plaques are not stamped, hammered or cast but take many hours of meticulous hand work. These are original art works.

She took part in Pewter Live 2021 “an annual European Design Competition organised by the Worshipful Company of Pewterers to promote the use of pewter and innovation in design”.

She sells regular through her Etsy shop, at markets and events around the UK and exhibits regularly at the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate, the only show which promotes British hand-made giftware:

She is also a member of Design Factory, a juried member craft organisation based at The Hub, National Centre for Craft and Design in the UK:
